A lot of great books came out this week, and in all honesty, I am still in the process of reading them, so you could argue that my Pick of the Week is a bit premature. In fact, I had not even finished reading this issue when I made my pick. After doing so, my choice was fully validated by what I saw on the subsequent pages, because War of Kings #3 is fantastic.

Look, on the one hand, I could say that any comic with a smart ass racoon shooting a giant mohawked alien with an imaginary bazooka is clearly awesome, but this is not why I picked this book. To fully explain the one and only reason why War of Kings #3 is my pick of the week, I only really need to quote two words:

“Accessing fist.”
