Ehh Rick Remender kinda stumbled in this issue. I’m not really sure why Flash is hunting down the offspring of the Venom symbiote, maybe it’s tied in with his deal with Crime Master, or Carnage U.S.A., or maybe it’s a mission from the Secret Avengers. Lan Medina also isn’t great in this issue. I noticed that Valkyrie was cock-eyed in a panel. Beast doesn’t look like the big blue furry feline, but more like a Sasquatch. Also Flash has a stoic expression in almost every panel. I did like the foreshadowing of a possible love interest between Flash and Valkyrie. This was the rest for the Venom symbiote as this is just the calm before the storm. I’m sure next issue will be alot more entertaining, because this issue I just did not care for.

  1. The one killing the symbiotes is actually Eddie Brook, not flash. Hopefully that clears up any confusion you had with that part of the story.
