I was fully prepared to hate this series , especially after the last abortion that Marvel threw at us . Moon Knight was essentially Marvel’s version of Batman , but under the talents of Moench  and Siekevnich (sorry I am sure that is spelled wrong ) the charecter became something really special . Unfortunatly after the original team left the charecter has been mishandled something awful , especially the last series in which Moon Knight became a psycho killer that racked up  a bigger bodycount than the Punsher . He suffered a breakdown and proceeded to kill and maim his enemies , and while that appealed to the typical violence loving pre teen Marvel zombies , the old Moon Knight fans were left out in the cold .

Well that was then and now we have a series , that seems to have returned to the old Moon Knight ( thank you Lord ) . Gone is the psycho killer and in its palce is a hero , who is trying to make up for past mistakes . Gregg Hurwitz has taken a charecter , who was a mess and in the first issue and made him interesting and alot of fun to read . Although the Moon Knight cycle was a little much for me . I loved the police reactions when they realize that Moon Knight did not kill or maim the bad guys , it was priceless . Folks if you let this title go by without checking it out you are missing a good one .

The art by Jerome’ Open’a was excellent , better than most of the Marvel titles lately . Moon Knight has’nt looked this good in a very long time . I haven’t seen this artist before but I plan on paying attention to his future work . All in all this is a good start , I can only hope  that some idiot editor doe’snt try to darken this book up . Just remember he is a hero , he is supposed to be better than the villans he is fighting , actually that is something that almost all of the other writers at Marvel should try to remember .

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
