It’s criminal that this book is being ignored. Sam Sakar and Garrie Gastonny are telling cinematic genre fiction in graphic form by crossing bits of “The Keep,” “The Deep,” and “The Thing” to spin a fresh horror archaeology tale about a crew of undersea treasure hunters and the forbidden haul they dredge up. For a former Avatar guy, Gastonny sure has a pretty line art style that works well with this computer coloring. This is like John Carpenter in a comic, and we need more of that.
