Wow, the forward my Damon Lindelof evokes the Twilight Zone. He hits the nail on the head, the story is filled with emotion and mystery. Every line Jeff Lemire places on the page be it in dialogue or art evokes emotion. You can feel the claustrophobic nature of the themes in this tale. The story pulls you through on the power of the emotions felt and experienced by the characters. I can’t rave more about this story, this will be what I give to my non comic reading friends when they ask why an almost 40 year old still reads comics.
