I wish this issue had been better — Kieron Gillen has revitalized Thor and the X-Men over the last few months, so I thought this would continue the fun-bus hauling ass towards ExcellentVille. However, maybe it was because of a clumsy tie-in to “Fear Itself” or the lifeless Greg Land art, but this felt inert compared to last month’s wonderful Breakworld wrap-up. I hope they can step the excitement level up a few notches, because I want to be a big booster of Gillen on this title.
