I hate when the cover has very little to do with the actual interior of
the book. This issue was fine for what it was, but a little
underwhelming. Land’s Lightboxing technique made the mouths on a lot of
the characters look weird and off putting. I liked all the stuff with
the character’s down time. I do think the new legislation that Trask is
introducing is going too far for the political alagories that Marvel’s
mutants love to employ. I like the idea of the Sisterhood a lot more
than the execution so far. Madelyne’s plan hasn’t really been too
engaging, to say the least. I think my favorite little thing this issue
was having Proudstar and Sunspot teaming up in that one panel. Old
School X-Force nostalgia is nice. I hope Dazzler mentions the
Australian era since she and British Betty were teammates back then.
Solid, but nothing too impressive. 6/10
