For those of us that have been x-fans for most of our live, or say the past 15-20 years or so, this book is a sigh of relief. For too long this title has had re boot after re boot that has been nothing more than re tread after re tread. What Brubaker and Fraction have brought to Uncanny is a freshness that hasn’t been seen sense Giant-Sized. This also goes for the art. Say what you will about Land and Dodson; I know that their art isn’t for everybody, but you can’t say that they don’t bring it every month. I have to say that it feels really good to care about this book again. This is the title that got me into comics, and to me that means something.
