X-Force has been one of my favorite books since Remender and Opena started their monumental run. The story has always been fantastic, and the art has accompanied Rick’s masterful storytelling with breathtaking visuals. However, since Greg Tocchini joined Team X-Force…I can’t say that I’m excited for the book like I used to be. I’m sure his art works very well for other titles, but the art simply does NOT do this book justice. Remender continues to create an incredible story full of amazing Otherworld adventures, but I feel that the art is simply muddy and distracting, and I simply don’t enjoy the book like I once did. I sincerely hope that the art improves or changes rather quickly, because the style and execution of this art is greatly taking away from the enjoyment that I want to feel for this book.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 2 - Average

  1. Totally agree. This has been a frustration with many of my favourite Marvel titles lately. We get 10-15 great issues and someone comes along to ruin the art.
