Jeph Loeb should not be allowed anywhere near the ultimate line ever again.  He clearly doesn’t get the point.  He doesn’t write the characters well.  He doesn’t situate the stories in the real world.  I hope Bendis and Millar can rescue the line from this, because hopes are not high after reading this.

    You only want to ban him from the Ultimate universe? Let’s add all of Marvel, comics in general, public forums, the Internet, open spaces and Planet Earth, okay? I’ll chair the fundraising committee to get him a ticket on the next rocket to Mars. I wish I could just fast-forward to Ultimate Avengers.

    I second that, the Ultimates 1 & 2 were some of my favorite mini-series. Loeb doesn’t get it at all, nothing seems good about it.
