If I were to describe this issue in one word it would be tense!
Now I'll preface this review with the admittance that I really don't care for the Ultimatum mini-series. I read issues 1-2 and I am totally unimpressed. This isue show the aftermath of Magneto's giant tidal wave and has Spider-Man going head-to-head with the Hulk.
I would like to give a shout out to Stuart Immonen for this issue. There is one pic in particular with JJJ looking out his office building and seeing sea water with Spider-Man jumping in to save people killed! The art seemed epic and was breathtaking at places.
I'd say, if you've been picking up Ultimate Spider-Man this is one not to miss, even if you're as uninterested in Ultimatum as I am.

I’ve been a real Spidey fan lately myself. I’ve been pulling Amazing every week for more then a year now. I just started pulling Ultimate a few months ago so now I’m buying all the trades from volume one up. It’s really expensive though. Some of these Ultimate Spiderman trades are almost $20 for used paperbacks!! Oh well, I got a deal on Amazing Spiderman by buying 40 years worth of issues on one DVD-ROM, at least I got a deal on that one.
