This book was like orgasm good. Nothing sexual, but after I got done reading this I wanted to cuddle with it for a little while and then roll over and go to sleep. What I really liked about this comic was it shows how fucked up it would be to live in this world. First off Gwen is back. I'm probably wrong, but I think this is the first resurrection in the Ultimate Marvel U. It was great to have a scene where you really see how incredibly fucked up that is. Aunt May has a letter from Tony Stark saying that Gwen is back from the dead to give to the vice principal. A doctors note from Iron Man! How do you even fathom that? In New Avengers, the return of Mockingbird is dealt with more casually because this shit happens all the time. But here it's shocking to these people; a total mind fuck. And on top of all that the Human Torch wants to get in the pants of Spider-Woman who just happens to be Peter's female clone. You try and explain this to someone and they look at you like you're out of your god damn mind. You can tell that Bendis really loves to write this book. Like Powers this is his baby, and maybe that's why we haven't had a Secret Invasion like disappointment out of this comic or Powers. If you're not reading this book you could jump on with this issue and I highly recommend that you do.
