This issue of Ultimate Spider-Man can really be called one of the greatest issues of its run so far. I preferred the art work of Lafuente recently, but the return of Bagley on this run really feels like a group of characters coming home. One of the few comics that in recent memory has given me multiple, emotional reactions. Including moments of “Oh no!”, “Yes!” and “Get the hell out of the house!.”
This is not only favorite issue of ultimate spider-man for a while, but also my favorite issue of any spider-man comic that has come out in a long time.

  1. I completely agree! This comic had me totally sucked in. The scene on the bridge, the standoff on the lawn, the silhouetted figure appearing on the street…it was FANTASTIC!  I read this issue at lunch then went right back to work and made my coworkers listen to me explain every detail.  Two thumbs up!
