My Review of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #15
This is easily on the most consistent Marvel titles over the last 10 or so years. I started pulling USM (UCSM, sounds and looks stupid) again with the Death of Peter Parker and stuck around for Miles Morales. Brian Michael Bendis has handled the characters continuing growth as a superhero brilliantly. David Marquez does a good job on art and isn’t a drastic departure from Sara Pichelli’s, though less detailed in both figures and backgrounds.

I like Ultimate Maria Hill and the big difference that separates her from her 616 counterpart. The relationships are truly the crux of this book, that of Miles and his parents, Miles and his best friend, Ganke, and Miles and the rest of the superhero community, especially the Ultimates.

My only gripe with this issue is the sorta Ultimate U crossover. To be perfectly honest, I have no interest in that universe outside this title. A character or two popping up is fine, but the endless reboots and creative switches have left me cold. Still, I’ll be sticking with this book for the foreseeable future.
