This book is to awesome, what Nemesis is to disappointment. Grab a bucket of buttery popcorn and some tongs (you don’t want to get buttery fingerprints all over your comic), and enjoy the fuck out of this comic.
It’s an action comic done right. Captain Punishmerica, O.G. Hulk, the most bad ass Black Widow ever, and Hawkeye’s mission to take down Ghost Rider is like Die Hard level dumb fun.
I don’t know whether to admire or be disappointed in Millar for giving his all to established property characters while half-assing his creator owned work. I’d love if he could bring this level of writing to his Icon work.

It’s funny about "OG Hulk," as you described him–I first saw that in a thread on a message board where it was proclaiming that Millar was racist. I don’t really believe that’s the case, but when I saw that cover with this big, black, Hulk figure with gold chains and gold teeth, I thought…"Oh Lord. You’re not helping yourself here, mate."
The people that say that Millar is racist are the same people that were offended by Wanted. Those people are to be ignored.

The only thing I didn’t like about this issue was the big close up to the cross on the guy who was spared. I get what it was conveying but it was pretty over the top. Besides that great issue. Hawkeye was so cool in this issue.
