im sorry to say, but ive had it with this book.  i was burned to badly by Countdown to keep buying this.  i like the people involved (although i find Busiek to be hit or miss with me) but i just cant take it anymore.  this book had become like a relationship you thought was going to be great but has been very lackluster, and your only staying with it out of obligation..  Honestly, i think the back-up stories are whats really hurt the book.  if it was a dollar cheaper and just the main story, i think i’d stick with it, but the back up stories make me instantly forget the main story, and the art usually sucks in them.  as much as im intirgued by the whole alfred thing, i just dont care anymore.  i really wish i did, but with comics being as expensive as they are, and with times being finacially bad, i just cant bother buying a book im not excited for. maybe if buzz builds on it again, ill go back and pick up the issues, but im afraid its time to abandon ship.  oh, and DC?  stop doing fucking weekly books!  unless your going to give us 52 again, stop wasting our time.  honestly, i think you should be able to turn in issue of Countdown for this, at least then i could justify it.  then id be giving back absolute shit for something quasi interesting.  oh well.

  1. Your review feels like something I would write! Although, I was a hater after issue #8.

  2. i almost dropped it while ago and then there was an issue that i thought was enough to keep me interested for a few more.  now, not so much
