I have to say that I haven’t been keeping up with the Transformers comics. Mostly for financial reasons though because the story that Mike Costa has been going through is very interesting. I had to drop a lot of comic books a while back and Transformers was on that list, but now that I’m financially secure I picked this and issue 13 up and I have to say that I haven’t been disappointed. This issue does a great job setting up for the new storyline and really draws you in. There’s plenty of action going on and just enough exposition to keep you interested. Don Figueroa’s art also works very well. He draws the Autobots to make them look like huge robots and doesn’t do a bad job with the humans either. The story is what’s going to keep me and it looks to be an interesting one.
