SO, THE NAKED CHICK IS MY NEW PARTNER? AWW, MAN!

Seriously, what more can be said about the amazing Gene Ha? Zander Cannon is the heir to Alan Moore’s legacy with Top Ten, and he is proving to be a worthy successor. I am still giggling over last issue’s “crossover-dressing” gag, and we get a good taste of it in this one as well. The great thing about Precinct 10 is that is stuffed to the girders with great characters. Season Two is successfully pulling off the same thing as One, and that is a good overriding story for the entire Season while each issue has self-contained tales that work exceptionally well to support the main plot. I find myself increasingly worried for the safety and well-being of Officer Wornow, but the best part of this issue is the Green Lantern-esque floating restaurant. It’s also interesting, now that I’ve read Moore’s The Forty-Niners, to see Captain “Jetlad” Traynor running the station. For my own pleasure, I also enjoyed the DC vs. Mortal Kombat ad in the middle, just because Sub-Zero is shown punching out the Joker. If you read one comic this week, make it Top Ten: Season Two #2!
