I read this because, as I mentioned in another review, I’ve read everything with The Brightest Day banner, and been mostly surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed them all.  This is the first title that didn’t make me want to go and read more.  It’s not a bad story, it’s just focused on characters that I don’t care about, and this issue didn’t make me care about them (Slade is an exception).

There were also four artists on this, not including the color.  None of them were bad, but they also didn’t seem to have a particular reason WHY there were so many artists (maybe they could have had one artist working on pages where The Atom was small, one artist for flashbacks, etc.), instead it just seemed to be a bit of a jumble.
