Tiny Titans is one of those books that I wouldn’t normally read as it’s obviously intended for very young readers. In fact, it makes me a little bit uncomfortable to even pick it up in the store as I feel like I’m going to be accused of asking little boys if they want to see some puppies or something.

Anyway, I bought it this week as all my other books seemed a bit on the existential-serious side and I felt like having a book that would bring the funny and Tiny Titans is definitely a book that always brings the funny. In fact, when I was paying, the grumpy comic book guy at the counter said to me: “Ah, the best comic in the world! This one always makes me laugh!”

This issue was unusual as it didn’t feature the regular Titans of Robin, Speedy, Wonder Girl etc, or even the typical multiple short stories. Instead, we followed Supergirl and Batgirl in one story as they plan a visit to the Titans, followed by their super-cute Super Cat and Bat Dog whom they’ve both forgotten to feed.

I’m not going to spoil the rest of the story. Just pick it up and discover this gem for yourself. It’s full of charm and if it doesn’t make you don’t laugh and smile, then you are probably empty inside.
