Well I said it 6 months ago and I stand by it “This book is awesome”.

It was pure fun in the way that old marvel books used to be. In this book you get the feeling that New York in the Marvel U really is a place to ASSEMBLE. This book has Capt’n Steve, Iron Man and Thor as well as the titular hero Thunderstrike against the villainous Kirby character Mangog.

It looks like DeFalco has paid attention to the goings on in the Thor books recently too as there was no Thorspeak to speak of, and he was notorious for using it back in the day. The Frenz art didn’t disappoint too with the trademarked mix or Kirby and Ditko which with the help of the Buscema inks just made it pop (incidentally Buscema beingthe only member of the creative team thanks at the end of the Thor movie- for shame marvel).

The team also leave it open for Thunderstrike to join the Avengers Academy or return again. Please be soon
