Part of the reason I started using this site was to try out some different books.  Thunderbolts was a title I tried based on it being a past pick of the week.  I've picked up a couple issues, and thought they were good, but I was never wowed.  This issue has me excited about this series. 
Satana's intro to the team is hilarious, and puts her teammates on edge.  The interviews for the second team of Thunderbolts had some great character interactions, with my favorites being the bonding moment between Shocker and Mach V, and the disappointment in Calvin Zabo's face when he realizes they don't want him, they want Mr. Hyde.  This is a gathering the team together issue, and it is a fun one.  Kev Walker does an excellent job of giving all the characters unique faces, and it helps since there are a lot in this issue.  The cover is a nice take on the classic "who will be next to join the team" image.  All in all, great issue.
