I don’t read Avengers Academy and because of that this issue makes no sense whatsoever. Other than a few panels none of the Academy characters are featured in this issue and therefore what caused the issue’s conflict isn’t even shown. This, along with the first few pages which condensed could have been a great monster story into a mesh of blood and guts makes this a very disappointing issue. If this was a crossover, then it should say that this is a crossover. Otherwise it should make sense on its own and not depend on another comic book series to make sense. This is only the third issue with this team line-up. I haven’t even had time to get to know these characters and how they work together. But the art was still top notch and that counts for something.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. I thought it made perfect sense. You are only given as much info as the T-bolts are which was cool. I don’t need to know what caused the blackout because i don’t care about the academy kids. but i did care about how the t-bolts handled it
