Wow. I really don’t think I could care any less about these characters.

The Thunderbolts, now pretty much devoid of any characters anybody’s heard of, continues plodding along without a really solid direction. When Songbird and Mach 5 returned during the Diggle run my heart soared hoping it would harold the return of a more classic Thunderbolts age. This issue, written by Jeff Parker, is well written and definitely action packed and Parker does his best to flesh these guys out a bit. But at the end of the day I really don’t care whether these guys live or die.

The art by Miguel Sepulveda is rather good and I enjoyed the warm, muted color pallet. But the art doesn’t really stand out and it doesn’t make this comic any more interesting.

This is a short review, but there isn’t much to say. This is far from being a horrid book, but it’s not a very good one right now either. I think I’m going to give it a break for a while even with my favorites the Agents of Atlas showing up in the next issue.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good
