I felt alittle lost while reading this. I read issue 9 & 10 back to back and I feel like I’m missing some plot points, but to be fair I didnt read issues 3 and 6 either (no idea why those issues sold out and not the others at my LCS). Anyway, the action felt hollow and I’m not sure where we’re going with this. Usually I like Way and appreciate his knowledge of the Marvel U but right now I feel like it’s moving too fast. That makes sense considering the next issue is his last but it hurts storytelling when you’re time is cut short.

The art is not great either. I liked Steve Dillion’s art on the first arc but grew to like Phil Noto’s when he came on. Now it looks rushed and choppy (which I blame the double shipping for) but still the art just felt lacking to me.

There were a few parts that made me laugh, and I liked the final reveal of the mastermind behind the Gamma bomb attacks. Way’s got his work cut out for him, all he has to do is just write an ending and tie up this story so Charles Soule can take over. Hopefully this issue was just a hiccup.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 1 - Poor
