Well to me this has been getting a little weird, the story to me is very slow paced, and i am starting to loose interest in the characters, a kid loki is a boring loki. And thor seems like a lost puppie dog in this issue like fraction did’t know what to do with him.  As far as the artwork, ouch, not really that good not particular fond of this type of art style.  Makes the norse gods feel and look human stale, pale no Defining Characteristics about them.  Will give it a few more try’s hopefully it will get better.

  1. I agree the story is getting weird, slow pace and average which is ok if you feel like your on a Journey that its building up to awesome.  There maybe alot of reason for this one of them being is they are reseting the Universe for the spring time new title. The real problem with this issue is what Fraction done with Bolder and Odin.  I need to double check the last issue but Odin seems to be brought back for no real reason or explanation what so ever.  Then Bolder one of the best characters in this title (and personal fave) is completely taken out of character for little reason. I hope he knows what he’s doing and this is all part of a master plan.  Think the artwork is good.

  2. Yes, Fraction has mishandled Balder so egregiously, it’s pathetic; and I don’t mind so much about the Odin part, but the idea of bringing back Loki is just idiotic, I’m almost embarrassed for the character that is Thor now in the hands of this writer, it’s like he’s got no respect for the character, it just doesn’t make any sense.

Where I would have to disagree is If it wasn’t for Pasqual Ferry’s art, this book woulda been so dropped a while ago.
