If you aren’t reading this, READ IT. In addition to a crackling noir caper story there is craft for days, what with Nick Spencer and Robert Kirkman shoveling coal into the maw of Shawn Martinborough’s fiery oven. I’m sure this thief story would be awesome in the hands of a few other creators, but Martinbrough has a dynamic, cinematic style that lays down perfect action panel to panel. Go to pages 19 and 20 and tell me I’m wrong. Go ahead — I’ll wait.
