I thought the first two issues of Thief Of Thieves were fantastic. Great art, and I was enjoying the way Spencer fleshed out Kirkman’s story. But I left issue three wanting more.

The last page reveal was unsurprising. And while Elisabeth Cohen’s relationship with Conrad and her employees is interesting and well written, it didn’t feel like enough to carry an entire issue.

I’m hoping issue four gives both Spencer and Martinbrough more room to flex their talents. Otherwise, I may have to drop this title.
