I cant really tell you why i enjoy a transformers comic so much where there are never big battle scenes with blaster fire flying. No one actually ever transforms into their Alt mode and does anything cool. The lines of morality are blurred and the major plot points are political not action. and no optimus prime.

wow! what a pitch for a transformers comic book. They guy that went into IDW with this idea had some stones. Thank goodness he did. As person who’s favorite college courses where poli sci and philosophy how this comic each months goes about doing its thing is right in my wheelhouse. The issues and motivations driven in this issue are as challenging and nuanced as I have seen in any other book by any other publisher.

Bumble Bees ineffectual wet noodle leadership style. Starscream’s back room scheming and the way he has so quickly been able to maneuver the the autobots.. to Prowls step towards power.

i cant wait to see it shake out!
