This book is essentially a different twist on Kick-Ass. The main character is a skinny blonde geek with glasses who constantly gets bullied at school. He then decides to make a stand and lay the smack down on some meatheads. Sound familiar? Ya. Me too.

That being said, I loved Kick-Ass and I loved this book. Extreme violence, nasty language, an underdog beating the shit out of the school bully. What’s not to love?

The art was amazing and super gory. The story was not that original, but I can’t help but be fascinated by this scrawny underdog character and his newfound ability to literally rip people apart with his bare hands.
