I am picking this comic as my first review for the site for a very simple reason. It. Was. Awesome! I can not recomend this book highly enough, the first issue is a consistant slow burn that doesnt just drops hints on whats to come and what happened but drops boulders that you feel. I really appreciate the way this book establishes the Greats and how humanity reacted and treated them, allowing the story to unfold over the length of this oversized book as opposed to dumping it all in one exposition filled page. This really allows you to get comfortable and lets the book shock you towards the end as some big things are revealed. I look forward to reading this series for awhile based on the mysteries brought up in this first issue alone and know you will as well.
