I haven’t read Invincible Iron Man in over a year and I decided to pick this up to see how the title was doing with the beginning of a new story arc.

That was a mistake.

The recap page left me totally confused. I will blame my lack of background with the material but I had no clue why Tony Stark was so miserable, Captain America felt all wrong and the story had me far more confused than excited over what comes next. Fraction’s dialogue is great but I found the story incoherent.
