This is more like it; the Flash is running TOWARDS something instead of in circles.

We finally see the Flash and Reverse-Flash meet and see round one play out. Lots of great moments in this issue.

Story: The search for the Speed-Force killer is ongoing; there’s only two “targets” on his list left: Barry Allen and Iris West. There were some great Flash/Iris/Patty moments here, and some callbacks to the old DCU. Props to how Iris is dressed in this issue, tight yes, explotive no.

The art: Gorgeous as usual. This stuff looks like it was painted with high-quality water-color paint. It looks amazing. The art sets the tone in every scene really well (forboding, exubruant, tense, joyeus, etc).

And the Reverse-Flash. You think you know who it is after last issue, but you don’t. I thought I did, but that was just the first half teasing me. I have no clue who he is, and I’m excited by that. He has some new powers too, so round 2 should be a sight to see.

If you’re following this series and are on the fence after last issue (like I was, honestly), don’t be. Flash is back on track.
