I can simply review this issue with one word: meh. My anticipation was off the charts for this book if only for Iron Fist. Upon seeing Danny Rand being turned into basically, a blonde Tony Stark, I got almost violently ill and had to step back, drink some water, and pet a kitten or else the rage consume me. After an hour-long bout of pumping myself up I jumped back in to find this your typical first issue, team-building book. Horrible threat appears, hero can’t handle alone, builds team, credits. I will continue with this book for a couple more issues in hope that I can stomach it, but at this point, it doesn’t look good. Well, it does look good, as the art is the only reason it got bumped to two-stars, but if I wanted good art, I’d go to my local museum and stare at turn-of-the-century expressionist paintings.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 3 - Good
