Yet another lead-in book to a series that has already started. And, if you’re a fan of 1980s superhero comics, this one is for you.

Fluff dialog that doesn’t quite rise to the level of fun or entertaining, and Walt Simonson art that feels exactly like Walt Simonson art from thirty years ago.

The two panel spread where Thor shows up is beautiful, but a lot of the art just makes this book feel dated to me. It’s not bad by any stretch, but it smells faintly of mothballs and mildewed Rubik’s cube.
