Like many of the people here, I think that Bendis reusing Norman Osborn feels bit much like going back to the well. HAMMER, his fake Avengers, etc etc, it’s all stuff we saw not that long ago, and yet… I really liked this issue. This felt like a classic Avengers issue, where pretty much each character got a chance to do something and shine just a bit. While some things seemed a bit off (I have trouble hearing Vision say “My good man” to Jarvis) but I thought in terms of action this is one of the better plotted issue of the Avengers franchise Bendis has done in a while.

  1. I think it’s kind of refreshing to see them fight supervillains again before they get back to the hero/hero battles that have become the norm at marvel.
