The No Turning Back arc was pretty good all together. Though I didn’t like seeing Spider-Man turn into jerk. Guiseppe Camuncolli did a great job on all issues in the story. I came out of this being more appreciative of his penciling skills. It’s always fun when a dark storyline comes along in Amazing Spider-Man. You see how Spider-Man is going to have to adapt to the situation. Dan Slott said that because the Spider-Man movie was using Lizard he wanted to tell his own Lizard story. I thought this arc was bettetr than the movie. Last issue Lizard wasn’t 100 percent sure he wanted to become a Lizard again and that was an interesting plot point last issue, but it doesn’t last long. In the end we go to the Raft to see a few of Spider-Man’s enemies and Lizard/Curt Connors’ monologue was a good ending to the story.

  1. GREAT ending to the story, IMO.

  2. Waitaminnit! I don’t get it. We go to all this trouble to stress that lizards and humans arent natural enemies. THEN we go to great pains to allude that maybe the evil came from Curt Connors. But at the end of the story the Lizard was the evil influence after all and the Lizard is imprisoned but is now under control because it has the mind of …..Curt Connors! WHAT??????????????????????????????
