I was hoping that inserting the Lizard into Slott’s Amazing Spiderman run would serve as more than just a way to synergize between the comics and the movie. Luckily the comic holds up. The draw here is Lizard’s inner monologue. He’s Curt Connors physically but the Lizard mentally. The crazy ramblings and blood-lust work amazingly well here. Morbius is also handled well and this is a character I don’t know very much about. Looking forward to where this arc goes.
