Dan Slott has done another excellent job with ASM 680. Reuniting Spidey and Human Torch on a rescue mission into outer space is exactly as fun as it sounds. The dialogue is witty and appropriately placed. The Ends of the Earth event supposedly starts in a few issues but this feels like a great intro to the story. It’s also nice to see a table setting issue to an event not marketed like the Mayan Apocalypse. A really great read and an excellent jumping on point after the unfortunate Mobius .1 of last month.

  1. Agreed. The Morbius .1 was a little dull. Not sure why, but it just was. Maybe the art? The characters? idk.
