This book always feels like it builds to a peak every issue and then
just stops. I’m loving Moore’s work, because he’s writing something I
wouldn’t associate with his name, action adventure. He’s still writing
amazing character interaction. His women are still some of the most
intelligent and cunning in comics. I’m loveing the art, but I’ve always
loved his art. I think the sister looks a little too much like
Francine, but that’s probably just the style. The big reveal at the end
of the book isn’t so much shocking as completely predictable, though,
and I’m positive this book will read a lot better in trade.
