Excuse me while I cheer about Terry Moore already writing and drawing a new book.
(He cheers and dances. Then returns to desk.)
Echo is a great first issue. The issue opens and throws you into the middle of a dogfight between a fighter jet and a woman wearing a jet pack.. If it sounds awesome it's because it is. Sadly, our female rocketeer get blow to pieces. If it sounds awesome it's because it is. Meanwhile, a woman (our main heroine of the story) photographing flowers below sees the explosion and then is rained on by some sort of nuclear pebbles from the blast. The little dots stick to her body all over her body. A piece of the suit the rocketeer is wearing ends up in the back of the main characters truck and then ends up being attached to her body.
This book already feels very different from SiP. It doesn't have the cartoonish moments that we all grew to love in SiP but it still might be too early in the series to tell. It has Terry Moore's amazing artwork and a story that looks to be going in a very interesting direction. I have so many questions and I can't wait to see all of them answered over however many issues we're in store for.
I'm on board!!!
Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
Art: 4 - Very Good

I felt the same way about this issue. I think that this did a much better job than say, Jeff Smith’s RASL, in terms of getting me excited and interested in the next big project from a popular independent creator. And Moore’s art is exceptional and has really grown a lot since SiP. I’m excited for the next one.
