I love the Luna Brothers. To say one “loves” a comic book creative team is such a simple thing to say. As comic book fans, we often spout hyperbole with such ease. So much so, that to say, “I love this book”, is a statement of little weight.

Yet…

I LOVE this book.

Love it.

Why? Because not only are the Luna Brothers telling a good story. They are telling it so well.  This issue is essentially just a big fight scene. But it’s illustrated in a way that I find completely engaging. The Lunas are able to convey a sense of motion, sequence, and geography, that is so lacking in most action comics. And the fight itself has a sense of progression. The stakes and dangers are continually escalating until we reach the final page, which makes me ache for the next issue.

More people need to be reading this book.
