Oh Swampy you know how to keep me begging for more. In fact that’s my only complaint about this book. I’m upset when I reach the end and then I have to wait a month before I learn what comes next. The story is moving along at a slow enough pace that I’m getting more and more anxious to when the next fight happens, but not so slow that I’m impatiently waiting for the story to move on. I prefer my stack of comics to speed through the conversation and get straight to the punching, but in Swamp Thing I want to know what everyone is thinking, what’s their motives, how do they plan to get through this alive. I will say that I want to see Poison Ivy used more. Really she’s just there to be angry at Swamp Thing. Yanick Paquette does superb on art. Giant Swamp Thing was a great joy to look at, and I’m glad he’s not a giant throughout the whole issue. In closing I think this issue had the best cliffhanger of the week.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
