Sort of cool to see the tie-in with the otherwise “meh” Animal Man annual #1.

There were several genuinely creepy panels, and that lifts this 0 issue to a 4 for the story and art.

Yes, Arcane is a badass and has killed lots of Avatars…

You know, honestly, it feels like Snyder just recently decided that Arcane will be the super villain of all super villains–and now he needs some serious retroactive villain cred.

As for Kano’s art…I dont’ seem to remember enjoying his art as much the last time. This issue evokes a very Francavilla vibe, and that’s a good thing.
