For a comic written and drawn by creators more known for their Archie work, I was impressed. The very 80’s-esque story of Superman fifty years into the future is frequently poignant and even touching at times. What could have been a trite villain was portrayed with heart. The art is beautiful along the typical “Beyond” format and it is amazing to see the still stunning skills of 75 year old Sal Buscema with gorgeous finishings. All and all, I enjoyed it and will pick up further issues if there are any.
