I appreciate the effort it must take to reconcile a lot of disparate continuity over the course of about 50 years is a daunting task. Knowing that whatever you throw out, there will be someone out there that will call for your head. But I have to believe there is a way to put all these puzzle pieces together in a more satisfying way. This issue read like a text book. It read dryer than talcum powder. I honestly didn't care one whit about the old explorer from Daxam or the religion of their society. The one good thing about this issue was the art reminded me of Curt Swan in the way the space suits looked like.
