You gotta live with a few bad steps along the way in a crossover. Anything having to do with Mon-El in this issue was one of those days.

The confrontation with Superman, Brainiac and Luthor was great. Mon-El appearing, stopping weird 60’s drawn aliens and making a “prophetic” save of a bottled city was not.

Mon-El doesn’t seem like Mon-El lately. To me, he comes off like carbon copy of Superman, only less interesting. However, once he and Clark get into the action, only then does he become interesting.

Anything I really enjoyed about this issue? …it has a nice cover.
