We’re getting there. We’re getting to the level where this book and this character could be as interesting as he was when he first came back. This issue was a transition from the General Lane stuff we’ve been padded with over the past few months and into the Legion of Superheroes story that has been building for a long while.

My only problem with this book is that it never knows where it wants to go or what it wants to be. Constantly rotating artists don’t help as the book, but Bernard Chang and Javier Pina do their best.

It’s going to get better people…it has to.

  1. One thing I have learned from comics, it doesn’t have to get better. I do agree Mon-El is finding a place in the DCU so my guess is he will go "teets up" in the next three months.

  2. Captain, a valid point. It just sucks to see both Mon-El, Nightwing and Flamebird start off strong, but then falter due to Codename: Patriot, which threw a serious wrench into all the stories and stopped them flat.
