I was one of the many people who were not thrilled with Robinson’s initial arc on Superman.  This is better, not great but definitely better.  The story continues right out of the New Krypton One-Shot and goes exactly where you would expect it to go so there is no surprise there…until the end.  What the hell was that about???????  I’m not sure if I like it yet but we’ll see.

My one big complaint about this book is the art.  It’s just not a style that I’m in love with.  Maybe my bar is set a little high after reading that beautiful Shane Davis Red Lanterns book but it might grow on me.

I’d say I’ll keep with this story for now, but the next issue really needs to wow me.
