I’m just as surprised as everyone else that this comic is even halfway decent, not to mention one of the highlights of my pull list.  The creative team of Gates and Igle made “Supergirl” the most steady, reliable part of the rocky “New Krypton” crossover, and it doesn’t look like they are letting up yet.

This book has interesting characters, a good balance of story and action, and more fun per square inch than most titles. I consider it DC’s answer to the throwback style Marvel has been using on “Amazing Spider-Man” and “Nova.”  And it’s still $2.99!  Everyone should give this book a chance.
